Despite the fact that I was busy creating an update, my script master Mondprinzessin took the initiative and upscaled the entire SC I game with the help of AI. Thanks to Mondprinzessin, you'll be able to see the game in 1080p quality much faster than if I had done it. It was a pretty time-consuming process, as it required a huge amount of computer power and took him two full days to do 3840 renders.

Guys... it was well worth it!

The AI image enhancement isn't perfect, it has some minuses like: blurring backgrounds, incorrectly rendering eyes and other small body parts, BUT that's why, SC I looks brand new. It's like it's a completely different game. And I, as a fan of everything connected with such games, would love to replay my favorite project in a new form.

Imagine that you are a fan of, for example... Resident Evil 4 and after many years you see that Remaster is released for your favorite game. Yes, it may not bring that feeling of nostalgia, but you have an incentive to replay the game again and dive into your memories comparing them with the Remastered version.

However, I want to warn you right away.

The renders look a bit ridiculous in places, but in some cases, they look incredible. To fully understand what's going on, I'll attach some examples to this post.

I can absolutely say that I will not replace old renders with updated ones, I will release both Legacy and Remastered versions of SC I. And it's up to you to choose what you like.

In some examples you may notice a blurring of the floor or the pillow that is in the background, but I think it is not critical if you take into account the overall picture. However, there are some funny moments, but in my opinion there are not so many.

For the most part, the AI does not bring anything new, but it seems to reinforce the already existing flaws of the renderer.
